About our roller bearing castors
Roller bearings are designed to carry loads while minimizing friction caused by moving. Roller bearings use cylindrical rolling elements to reduce the friction between moving parts. Friction can be reduced in two ways:
- by using more rows of cylindrical elements it is possible to increase the radial load capacity of castors with roller bearings.
- By using rolling elements in various sizes, it is possible to further decrease friction and increase the support on radial and axial loads.
One big advantage of roller bearings is that they are self-aligned. This means that misalignment or mounting issues can easily be overcome. Thanks to the self-alignment, the durability of roller bearing castors is higher. Furthermore, you can decrease the costs of maintenance and repair. There are several types of roller bearings that can be fitted on our castors. Do you want to know more about the specific types of roller bearings and their characteristics? Feel free to contact us for more information.
Besides our product range, we can also manufacture wheels according to your requirements. Do you need a very specific type of wheel or castor to replace your equipment or machinery? Please contact our engineers for our bespoke solutions or ask us for a quote.
