Advantages: The plastic expander fastener is used for mounting castors with a bolt hole fitting directly into a round tube or square tube. The expander consists of an Allen bolt, two conical elements made of metal and a plastic expander part. These are inserted into a bore or round tube. When tightening the bolt, the two conical parts are pulled towards each other, causing the plastic part to expand against the inside of the tube/sleeve and thus clamp itself. The plastic expander is often used on castors with a load capacity of up to 100 KG. The plastic expander is available for both round tubes and square tubes. When choosing an expander fixture, one should pay attention to the inner dimensions of the tube/sleeve in which the expander has to be clamped.
